Setting a new standard for responsible growth in Las Vegas, MGM Resorts International™ earned six distinct Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED^®) Gold certifications for CityCenter™ from the U.S. Green Building Council. At every point, we have taken steps to achieve this goal, including the use of wood products from responsibly managed forests; high efficiency water use, both inside the building and outdoors; alternative fuel options for limousines; and an improvement of more than 30 percent in energy efficiency over standard building codes. ARIA has also received the highest level of recognition, 5 Green Keys, from the Green Key Eco-Rating Program, the largest international program evaluating sustainable hotel operations. CityCenter's commitment to the environment remarkably demonstrates that a community can be both beautiful and sustainable for today and for future generations.
